E-LEARNING CENTRE

Care By Us now has an Internet café style e-learning centre set up at the head office in Bishops Stortford.

The centre will offer an opportunity for you, whether you are a member of staff, a service user or a family member to develop your knowledge and skills through e-learning.  E -learning is an interactive way to complete courses online and you will receive a certificate upon completion. 

E learning can be done in your own time and at your own pace, and there will be a trained member of staff available to support you through your learning experience and to assist with login procedures.

The courses that are available are as follows, and all courses must first be registered via the Learning & Development Team.

·         Dementia Awareness

·         Self Directed Support

·         Safeguarding in Health & Social care

·         Enablement

·         Mental Capacity Act

·         Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards

·         Child Protection Basic Awareness

Our centre is user friendly with large touch-screen computers and can be used with a large mouse and keyboard with visible keys.

Best of all, it is completely FREE…

The centre is open from 9am-5pm weekdays and out-of-hours appointments can be arranged.
